Also known as a "tuneup," this service is the first step in any seasonal care or repair diagnosis. The full preventative maintenance package applies to both gas- and battery-powered leaf blowers, including handheld and backpack models. Use this service regularly (we recommend at least once every 12 months, or more often with heavy use) to prevent costly repairs and downtime! - Check throttle trigger, cruise control/throttle lock, and stop switch
- Check backpack harness, straps, padding, and frame mounts
- Check anti-vibration mounts, handles, hardware, and fasteners
- Perform an operational test at idle and full throttle
Fuel, Air & Ignition System + Engine Inspection
- Inspect fuel lines, fuel tank vent, and primer bulb
- Clean and adjust carburetor (new carburetor if unserviceable, sold separately at discounted rate)
- Replace air filter, fuel filter, and spark plug
- Clean cylinder fins and engine cooling area of dust and debris
